Supporting Mental Health

This week is Mental Health Awareness week (14th – 20th May), this is a great time to think about how we can all address the causes of work related stress. As a company this is something we are focusing on helping our employees feel valued and supported by creating a mentally healthy workplace.

We have arranged for three Mental Health awareness courses for our site workers to take place at our larger sites in various places across the North West area of the country. We will also be rolling this programme out to our central teams later in the year.

We all know what it’s like to feel stressed – it’s part of everyday life. But when you’re overwhelmed by stress it may lead to mental health problems or make existing problems worse. We want all our workers and employees to know that they are supported whenever they need it.

It is essential that we look after the well being of our team, as our value states the people are the core of our business.
